BE OF GOOD CHEER.
FELLLOWSHIP.
As a child of earth will rush full of new joys and, happiness to tell a father or a mother and finds its gladness doubled by that fellowship, so it will be between thy soul and thy God. Prayer halves the pain; praise doubles the joy. * * * * The burden which was thoughtlessly got must be patiently carried. Hope, and a hundred tears; Love, and the ancient tears; The light of the world and the dark of the world, They follow us down the years; The joy of the world and the grief of the world, Beat at ni.v window pane. * * * * Sympathy overcomes evil and strengthens good. It disarms resistance, melts the hardest heart, and draws out the better part of human nature.
