The executive of the Obstetrical Society considered that the remuneration at present awarded mas not proportionate to the work these tutors were doine. A resoluion was therefore passed su"' T esting to the Otago University Council that out of the increased rovenue henepforth available for obstetrical teaching it should consider Increasing the isnlnries of obstetrical tutors in the northern St. Helens hospitals, which are now being used as additional training schools • for senior students.
