CROCODILE TEARS! A small alligator from Mozambique, now in the Libson Zoo, recently went on hunger strike. It was suffering from home-sickness, and scornfully turned up its snoyt when food was presented to it. It was therefore, forcibly fed with milk, beaten-up eggs, and minced meat. It is hoped that the reptile will soon forget its friends in the dismal swamps, and take, its food like a gentleman.
