LONDON, June 13.

The idea of police activity against motorists in England js revealed by toe fact that motorists paid over £290,000 in fines last year. Over 250,000 were. summoned and in addition 69.000 were cautioned. „

Among the offences were the following:—

Manslaughter 74, drunkenness 1,730, .reckless driving 27,C00. More than 23,000 .were summoned for exceeding the speed limit.
