A MURDER TRIAL.

SYDNEY, June 12

Frank Green, aged 25 years, was acquitted of murdering Bernard Dalton, details of which case were cabled last November. This was Green’s second trial. Green was rearrested later and was charged with Maliciously wounding Walter Tomlinson, who was shot at the same time as Dalton. Tomlihsotl litis recovered, tte was the chief witness against Green on the murder charge, A large crowd belonging to the underworld cheered Green’s acquittal.

Mr Justice James advised the underworld to cease its warfare, as to the cause of which, he said, the public were perfectly ignorant. Otherwise they would all be killing one another off.’
