ADDINGTON STOCK SALE.

Fat .cattle. —There was a small yarding of about 500 head of beef mostly heavier sorts, with a few choice consignments, which met a ready sale, plainer sorts were harder to quit. 'Extra, heavy steers sold to £2l 17s Od, prime from £l's to £l6 15s medium £ll to £l3 10s plain £7 10s to £9 5s ; extra heavy heifers to £ls 17s Gel prime £8 15s to £lO ss, plain £6 10s to £8; extra heavy cows to £l3 12s (kl .heavy .£lO to £l2, prime £S to £•8 15s, plain £5, to £7 inferior form 04 10 s.
Fat Sheep.—A larger yarding of fat sheep comprised mostly ewes There was an easing tendency. Prime extra heavy wether sold to 30s, extra crime to 34s , prime 27s Od to 30s, medium 23s Od to 20s Od, light we lmrs ISs to 22s fid, extra heavy prime ewes to 33s Id, extra prime to 28s Id, prime 'Os I'd to 23s Od. medium 10s fid to lCs Od, light 13s Oil to 16s, inferior from
Store sheep.—These were selling on „ par with late sale. There was n tmod demand for the best class of ewes.. • gy ■ Fat Lambs.—-There were 3"lT) vn<dyd. mainly lighter sorts. Prices declined Lid. per head. Extra prime sold at 29s lOd, prime 24s fid 2.s medium 21s to 2-I,s, light 17s to 20s. La,nlis.—There, was a bigger yarding of fat lambs of fair quality. There was a slight easing in prices. Extra fine lambs sold to 29s Ifid. prime 24s fid to, 275, medium 21s to 245, light from 17s.
Pigs.—There was a small yarding of oorkers and baeoners. The tone of the market was much better. Light nork sold 45s to 555, heavy 57s fid to fAs fid : average 8d per lb. Choppers sold £3 14s fid to CG 13s fid ; bacon £3 i‘>v. (id to £4 4s ; heavy £1- 5s to Co 4s fid ; average 7d per lb.
