Right Worshipful Brother Aubrey Halloran has been elected Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of New South- Wales in .succession of the retiring Grand Master, the Gov-ernor-General Lord Stonehaven.

, CANBERRA, June. 12. v The Loan Council has decided to issues a loan of £10,000,000 on the Australian'market within a few days. The terms will he six per cent, at par for eight years.
