A NEW ZEALAND GIFT

SiDNEY, June 11

Miss Hempton (president of the women’s auxiliary New Zealand association) presented Miss Amy Johnson. with a' Maori doll which was dressed to represent Maggie Papakura as a Rotorua guide, and conveyed to her a message of felicitations from the women of Now Zealand.

Miss Johnson expressed pleasure at the gift and said “give my love to the women of New Zealand. I am sorry I nnv unable to visit them as 1 intended, but hope to be able to do so in the future.”
