At three this bright summer morning, at ono of the Manhattan's wettest all night cafes, four snappily dressed, hatless youths entered, drew automatics and robbed patrons of ten thousand sterling in cash and a lino lot of jewels. The only shots fired were when one woman attempted to toss a thousand dollar roll behind the bar. “Another move and we will put a machine gun on you,” shouted the leading bandit, as they methodically passed down a line of ,big ; , spenders, which included judges, pri&e .fighters, jockeys, lawyers, bookmakers and millionaires.
