SIR JOSEPH WARD

REM A RKA BLE RECK >V EKY

(By Telegrapn—Per Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, Juno G

Sir Joseph Ward proposes next week to visit Wellington, where he will reside in a comfortable residence close to Parliament buildings. He has made a remarkable recovery from the state of weakness which followed his resignation of the Prime Minister’s position, but his physicial condition cannot be regarded as normal. However, a wonderfully bright mentality prompts the ex-Prime Minister to secure a change of scene for a short time, and he naturally returns to the familiar and congenial surroundings associated with his life’s work.

LEAVING- FOR WELLINGTON

ROTORUA, June 9

Sir Joseph Ward’s condition is much improved. He is leaving Rotorua for Wellington this afternoon.
