ENTERTAINMENT OF DELEGATES. ' RUGBY, May 31. Tiie fourth Imperial Press Conference will commence at London on .Monday and will continue throughout June. Apart from the business ot the conference, the delegate’s have a programme of receptions and. banquets arrranged in their honour. ; After the preliminary session of the conference on Monday at Grosvenor Louse, there will be a reception by the Lord Mayor of London at Guildhall. to 'be followed by a ! banquet to be given in the same building by the British Pross, Major As tor, M.P., ..residing. • ~ On Tuesday the delegates will witness the I ro'tpin/'i ol tue Colours at the Horse Guards’ Parade, and will attend a luncheon to be given by the Empire Parliamentary Association in Westminister Hall, at which the Speaker of the House of Commons wiil preside, supported by the Prime Minister, the Lord Chancellor, and the Chancellor of the Exchequer. On Wednesday there will be a visit to Epsom Downs to see the'Derby run. inner trier© will be an opportunity for the delegates to attend the Ascot Races, one of the biggest social events of the season.

The King and Queen will receive the visitors at Buckingham Palace cn June 2-1 lb.

On ,’iun'e 231 h the delegates will visit Portsmouth to witness/a naval demonstration, and on June ,28th they will see a display by the Royal Air Force at Hendon.

In the course of the month they will inspect the offices of .newspapers, both metropolitan and provincial, while visits will be paid , t'oi. Oxford, Edinburgh, and to , Sjialtespeare’s birthplace, Stratford on AvjoiV.

In regard to the aotua)T;>yjjrk, important matters of an .inter-imperial aspect will occupy the qoqfcrence. They will include questions" df a reduction in cable and wireless rates, of improved facilities of communication, and the fuller publication of Dominion news in the British Press.
