Interviewed at Darjeeling, Tobin and iTinnun, returned members of Ivin -hinjunga, stated the expedition had abandoned the hope ol reaching the summit of Kinehinjunga this year, has broken camp and is moving olf in the direction ol Jongsongla Pass, which has been crossed only once from Jongsongla. 'l’he expedition hopes to ascend Jongsongla peak, which is 24,3(X> feet high. Alter the climb it returns through Nepal, thus completely rounding Kinchiujunga.
