SALE OF RESTAURANT
BAXKRCUT'S CREDITORS SUSPICIOUS. (Bv Telegraph—Press Asfiociat.on). WELLINGTON, May 30. The if acts regarding the sale of a restaurant by Velimir Bingula, a bankrupt, were not made sufficiently clear to satisfy the creditors at the adjourned meeting in Bingula’s estate, and a resolution was passed that the <r, cinl Assignee (Mr E. Tansley) should take such steps as he thinks fR to have persons who can give evidence concerning the sale of bankrupt s business examined before a Magistrate under Section 02 of the Act. The deed stated that the business' was sold for (‘l3O. but evidence taken yesterday was to the effect that the real price was C 350. It was alleged that money changed hands after the transfer. A further motion, opposing bankrupt’s discharge until 15s in the € had been paid was carried unanimously.
