The Minneapolis physician, Marse, and the pilot of an aeroplane speeding for an urgent operation here were all killed when the plane crashed within ten miles of its destination.

A separate subsidised cargo steamship service to China from Vancouver, is likely, according to an announcement 'by Malcolm, Trade Miniser. A plea for a greater use of Australian :and Niew Zealand products was voiced by J. H. McDonald, member of the Canadian delegation of lumber which recently toured Australia. He said many Australian commodities hitherto unknown in Canada could be used here. Canada must 'buy more if she was to sell more to Australia.
