A message from Townsville states the removal of the Italian coat of arms from outside the Vice-Consulate at Irinisfail for the second time, is accepted by Italians in Northern Queensland as a gross insult. Intense excitement exists at lnnisfail, where it 'is considered compjl'icafuonls may develop as a consequence of the outrage. The Italian Consul has lodged a protest with the Federal and State authorities and has transmitted a cabled report of the affair to Mussolini.
