ADDINGTON STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph- Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 28. At to-day's live stock sale at Addington prices maintained a firm level Beef.—There" were 46-5 yarded, the quality being poor. For good sorts there was a firmer demand. Steers: Extra £l7 10s to £lßs 7s fid, prime £l4 to £l6 os, medium £ll to £l3, plain £7 10s to £9 os. Cows and heifers: Extra £l3 to £ls 17s Gd. prime £8 to £l2, medium £6 10s to £7 15s, light £4 10s to £6 os. Mutton.—There were 2,800 yarded mostly ewes. The quality was mixed with a slight advance on last week. Wethers: Extra to 33s lOd, prime 28s to 39s Od, medium 24s 6d to 275, light 19s to 235. Ewes: Extra to 26s 4cl, Prime 20s 6d to 22s Cd, medium 17s to 19s. light 14s6d to 16s, aged 11s to 13s Al.

Fat lambs —There were 2,791 vard1. the quality being good, and prices

Good young ewes advanced 2s to 3s, two tooth Corriedale ewes sold at 27s 6d; 4,6, and 8 tooth threequarter bred ewes 22s 2d; half bred ewes 18s 3d ; old ewes 12s 6d to 15s : two tooth wethers to 17s 9d: small ditto 12s 4d to los 3d ; old and thin os 6d to 12s.
