the scope of the local work for the benefit of those requiring it. Air Hayden stated that Mr W. E. Leadley, ol Christchurch, would probably he able to attend the meeting in question, and would be able to afford a good deal of general information for the guidance of those present. This offer was accepted. The meeting then concluded with a very cordial vote of appreciation passed by acclamation to Mr Hayden for his attendance and instructive address.
