AiryMouidrjqf^Littleyßiver, Gaivferbory;?' a VaMidMe ? -for decion as a member of No. 7 Ward of MRb New Zealand Dairy Control Board delibered an address. Mr James Fleming presided over an attendance of some fifteen settlers.

In the course of In's address Mr Mould 15 'stated - that in M£lopinion the industry was - not getting value . from the present Board /ijfi constituted, and was not as. useful ijj'-day as when first formed.vi He considered that, the merchants -representative and the two Government nominees on the Board shouUhvhe eliminate'et%nd that the presence of the M iftistet- of Agi iculture -was .sufficient representation for the Government. The speaker mentioned that he had no confidence in the present Chairman of the Boaid (Mr lorns) and hef-was in favour of a voluntary markjjtfp ' scheme. He considered that some consideration should he given towards the amalgamation of the Marketing Board and the Amalgamated Dairy Associations. He was. not in favour of the amalgamation } of the Dairy Boaid and t e New Zealand Meat Board.
