Two lads of about 10 years of age, enjoying their school holidays, sought adventure in the- Hutchinson Road rubbish tip fan Wednesday and found it. While poking over'the rubbish one of them saw something shining bright and on picking it up discovered it-to be a perfectly good .303,. cartirdge Hinted with-his find the boy showed the cartridge to his friend and both commenced to search diligent y • Q r more, with , the result that one boy found twelve and. his Wend .eight sound, cartridges. Returning home m triumph,with their spoil they, planned to exploit their find. One of the boy was about to hit, the veap on one <* the cartridges with a hammer when the father arrived on the scene. _ ■ « was told of the hud and was shown the cartridges, which he promptly commandeered.
