WEDDING BELLS
The marriage of Rita, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. W. Walker, Seddon Street, Kumara, to Albert Edward, second son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Cooper, of Rimu, was conducted by the Rev. Nelson-Wright on Tuesday morning at the Holy Trinity Church Kumara. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired in a navy eustome and fox fur. She was 'attended by her sister Margaret as bridesmaid, wearing a fawn costume, hat and shoes to tone. Mr George Cooper, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Miss Evenden presided at the organ. Alter the ceremony the couple went to the bride’s parents’ residence, where the breakfast was held, later journeying to Greymouth by motor car, catching the express to Christchurch, where their honeymoon will be spent. They will reside in Kumara.
