A final reminder is given of the public meeting at the Town Hall tonight at 8 o’clock to inaugurate tee Cancer Research Campaign Fund. A large attendance for this important gathering is asked for. The Mayor will preside.
To turn out sponge cakes without lircaking them, immediately on removal from the oven place the tin on a wet doth for a few minutes. This makes the cake contract, loosening it from the tin.
