ARAHURA STOCK SALE
Alessrs At. Houston and Co. report that at the Arahura Eat Stock Sale on Monday the entry consisted of 57 head of fat- cattle which were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. There was a good competition and prices realised were on a par with those of the previous sale. Good medium weight ox beef realised to 45s per hundred, heavy ox 40s, and. cow beef from 32s to 38s per hundred, according to quality. . They sold as follows: —For W. Guthberiet 1 fat cow at £ll 10s, 2 at £6 2s Gd, I at £B, 1 at £7 12 Gd; on account of J. Adamson 1 runner at. £G 10, 1 at £4 10, 1 at £8 7s 6d, 1 at £4 12s Gd, 1 at £6 10«, 3 at £4 17s Gd, 2at £3 17s Gd, 1 steer at £9 2s Gd; on account of Misses Cummings, 2 cows at £8 15s, 1 at £lO 10s, 1 lieifer and 1 cow at £8 17s Gd, 2 cows at £9 15s, 1 heifer and 1 cow at £7 15s, 1 vealer at £4; ion account of W.
