At the annual meeting of the executive otf the Arysliire Cattle Breeder.® Association a letter was received from the Royal Agricultural Society stating that a movement was on foot ,to earmark part of the Breed Societies’ donation for the purpose of subsidising long distance exhibitors at Royal Shows so as to reduce their freight charges. The chairman, Mr YYeir said at all Royal Shows in Canada the Provincial Government paid exhibitors freights, and the shows were heavily subsidised by the Federal Provincial Governments. It was resolved to reply onposing in a letter to recommend the Royal Society to appeal to the Government for assistance in the direction indicated.
