WAIPORI POWER AUGURENTED. » . ■ DUNEDIN, May 19. There are signs of the breaking of the drought in Dunedin. After another day df brilliant sunshine, there was a welcome change in the conditions to-night, and steady rain set in about 10.30 p.m. A telephone message also indicated that it was raining heavily at Waipori, and as there has been a sudden sharp drop in the barometer, the indications are that rain may continue long enough to enable the,removal cf the present restrictions upon the'users of electrical power.
