At a meeting of the Greymouth Municipal Band last week the Mayor (Mr J. W. Greenslade) who presided, said the band should realise its present heavy liabilities and make an honest and effective effort to liquidate them. The administration of the band bad come in for much severe criticism. He hoped the grave difficulties, facing the band would be overcome, and its status in the town re-estab-lished.
