THE 'LABOUR LEADER, TAUPOj May 16. Mr H.E. Holland, M.P., the Leader t>f the Labour Party, addressed a meeting in Ricket’s Hall to-night. Tn the course of his speech, M,r Holland made reference to the resignation of Sir Joseph Ward. Ho said that, as a political opponent of the Prime Min-, ister, he desired to join with every section of the people of the Dominion in sincerely regretting that, as the residt of his illness, Sir Joseph Ward should have found himself compelled to resign his office of the first citizen of the Dominion.
