MISS JOHNSON’S FLY

RANGOON, May 16
Miss Amy Johnson made a test flight early this morning, which was very successful. She hovered over the racecourse and rose to twelve hundred feet. She stated that the repairs were all good. Miss Amy Johnson departed lor Bangkok’at 10.30 a.m. to-day.
Heavy rain prevailed, but the v :nd was not strong locally. The weather suddenly became worse after nine o’clock.
