N.S.W. MINERS VOTING FOB A RESUMPTION. (Australian Tress Association.) SYDNEY, May 15. Reports from the Northern Coalfields indicate that the fifteen months’ coal war is coming to an end. The votes of the miners at their respective Lodge meetings are already ! four to one in favour of a resumption of work upon the coal owners’ terms The full result will not be known till to-morrow. The officials at the Newcastle Trades Hall declare that the voting “discloses a landslide for a return to work.” The miners’ leaders at all meetings had urged the men to face the facts as with ip six weeks the funds would be completely exhausted.
