AUSTRALIANS CRITICISED. ■ LONDON, May 14
, The Australian press says: —Each match gives a poorer impression of Australian bowling, with the exception of Grimmett. The critics are asking what is going to happen when the veteran gets an already overdue rest. Fairfax and Hornibrook so far are tillable to maintain a good length, while A’Beckett and Hurvvood do not look dangerous. The Australians’ amazing collapse was due'purely to the great bowling of McDonald and Tyldesley.
