INDIAN’S ANKLE INJURED.

WELLINGTON, May 13.
After being felled heavily by his opponent at the beginning of the 4th round, Ramzan Khan, the Indian wrestler, who met George Walker in a match at the Town Hall this evening, had to be carried from the ring with a badly-sprained left ankle. He was sent to the' hospital by an ambulance, where an X-Ray photograph was to be taken. • i
When Khan' fell and lav on the mat, in pain, Walker rushed in and pinned him for the first fall of the match.
The three preceding rounds had been an excellent exhibition, with Walker mainly on the attack, and the Indian putting up a marvellous defence.
' After the mishap the bout was a war ded to Walker, who then carried his injured opponent from the ring, amidst applause. The Town Hall was packed, and the audience were pleased With the good display that the two put up before Khan was disabled. His ankle bad bpomn to trouble him at tlie nd of the third round.
