KAIAPOI, May 12,

To-day William Albert Parsons, stock agent of'Ariiberlev was charged with negligently driving a motor ear and causing tliej'cleath of Henry Gilbert Hancock, 38, a cyclist. He pleaded not guilty and was committed to trial, bail being,allowed. A police witness’ said accused was obviously intoxicated after the accident and made contradictory statements. Dr Gillett saict'he came to the conclusion after the accident that Parsons was intoxicated.. .
