RUGBY AND LEAGUE
The football season is close at hand. Meeting of the respective clubs are being held and club games will commence in April. The English team’s tour through the Dominion is eagerly awaited and particularly by West Coasters, as the Englishmen will meet the combined Buller-West Coast representatives during the season. It is too early yet to predict the winners, but should our boys be defeated they will find consolation in a foaming glass ol Westland Ale, the representative bre<r of Mew Zealand.—Advt.
