ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE.
M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT
At last Monday’s sale at the above yards, we submitted 78 lambs and 43 head of fat cattle to public competition. ’There was a good attendance of buyers, and prices showed a firmer tendency than at the previous sale. Good ox and heifer beef realised 45s per hundred and cow beef from 32s to 38s, according to quality. AA T e sold as follows: — On. account of Harris Bros., 18 forward lambs at 17s 6d, 21 at 15s fid, 19 at 13. s 3d; on account of T. Staines 9 fat lambs at 19s 3d, 11 at 18s; on account of D. Bradley 6 weaner pigs at 12s fid, 3 pups at 8s each: on account of AY. 'F. Died rich 2 bullocks at £ls, 2 at £l3 17s Gd, 2 at £l3 2s 6d, 3 heifers at £9, 2 bullocks at £l3 2 S ’6(1, 2 at £l2 7s 6d, 1 cow at £8 15s, 2 at £8 2s 6(1, 2 at £l2 12s 6d. 3 bullocks at £l2. 1 now at £B, 3 bullocks at £ll 12s Gd. 1 cow at £7 3 7s fid, 2 bullocks at £lO, 2 cows at £6 15s, 1 bullock at £lO/ 1 heifer at £7 15s; on account of T. Staines 2 heifers at £B, 1 at £7 10s, 1 cow at £7 19,-s fid, 2 at £B. 1 at £B, 1 heifer mul 1 cow at £4 2s fid, 1 heifer at £8; on account of D. Jellie 1 steer at £5 ss.
