The weather is perfect and track very fast after a long spell of dry weather, for the opening of the Forbury Park trots. The attendance is good. Results:—
Bayfield Handicap:—(2) Fifa - 1, (6) Hydro 2, (5) Ambition 3. Scr: Deceitful, Great Nelson.- Won by four lengths, third two lengths away. Time 3.34.
Domain Handicap:—(l) Belinda 1, (3) Lady Zephyr 2, (2) Ulm 3. S:r: Knowledge, Lydia Pointer. Won by a length and a-haif, third six lengths away. Time 3.26 4-5. Beach Handicap:—(s) El Direct 1, (-1) Sunchild 2, (1) Peter Daunt 3. All started. Won by a length, third two lengths awy. r J ime 2.13 3-5. To.ld Lonzia, in an exhibition mile Jo sdt an Australian record, went 2.22 2-5. The colt made one mistake otherwise the attempt -would have been better.
Sires' Produce -Stakes:—(l) White Satin 1 (2) Kilburnie Dan and Laugh Guy (dead heat! 2. Won by four lengths. Time 3.41 3-5.
