SCHMELING v. SHARKEY

NEW YORK, May 4
Max Schmeling, the German boxer, who meets Sharkey, has arrived. He is looking fit, and he weighed 190 pounds. He spoke confidently, but was not boastful. “I would certainly have as much chance against Sharkey as he would against me,” he said. If be takes the championship, he said, he would be glad to defend it against all comers.
