ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. 'Yesterday’s market was the first since the Easter Holidays, and the attendance at same was not as large as usual. Competition was, however, spirited, and ox beef prices firmed by 3s to 4s per hundred on the last sale before tlie holidays. Good ox beef made to 455, prime heifer to 41s and cow beef to 37s fid per hundred. A pen of nicely finished runners for Mr W. Olderog were a feature of the yarding and sold well. Sheep were not on demand and late rates prevailed again. W. Jeffries and Co’s entry comprised 45 fat cattle, 11 runners and 52 fat sheep. The following sales were recorded. For T. A.
