BUDAPEST, .May 2. A Hungarian, Tiliamer Nemes, has invented an apparatus producing oxygen from water like the gills of iisii, enabling a man to stay. under water almost indefinitely.
GATHERING OF BLIND
(Received this day at 9. a.m.j LONDON, May 2. Three thousand blind Londoners, tuchulipg ex-servicemen, will attend Saturday’s special recital of the New Zealand carillon at Hyde Park. Those present include a blind Victoria Cross winner, Sir .Boaehqroft Lowse, tiie blind ex-Commoner Capt. lan Fraser. A company of blind girl guides will provide a guard of honour for the Mayor.

Worried because bis wife was being called as a witness for the prosecution of a woman, a factory hand and his wife drowned themselves and two children in the Seine.
