CONFERENCE ON PROBLEM,

WELLINGTON, May 1

Arrangements have been completed for the holding in Christchurch on the 7th. inst. of a conference to discuss the deer problem of the Dominion. The Minister says that there is no indention of putting any proposal to a vote. The main idea is to obtain the views of the various interested parties as to the best way of meeting the situation. .
