lunch. „ A farewell call was made on Sir Joseph Ward during the afternoon. The party entrained at 5 p.m. Lord JBledisloe will leave by car to Te Aroha Lady Bledisloe continuing the journey to Auckland. Sir John IJaha.m and Lieut. Elworthy left Rotorua early this morning for Ifche butts for the opening of the shooting season. It is understood that their .Excellencies were. greatly struck by the 'wonders pf the thermal regions -Pjid the beauties of the unspoilt that they were delighted with the .warmth of the reception given by Maoris and Europeans alike, and the very, successful efforts, which .were made to .entertain them.
