A SATISFACTORY SALE

WELLINGTON, April 28

Details have been supplied by the postal authorities to the Minister lor Health of the revenue derived from the sale over the Christmas and New Year holiday periods ol the special charity stamps issued in connection with the campaign against tuberculosis'. It is understood that the response is considered to lie very satisfactory for the inaugural effort, and a healthy indication of what may he expected in future when the scheme becomes more widely known.

A statement setting out the result of the appeal will be made by the' Minister this week. It is expected that this will incorporate an announcement regarding approval of the 'design of stamp it is proposed to issue this year.
