(By Telegraph—Press Aasociution).

DUNEDIN, April 30.

When a charge of sheep-stealing against Gilbert William Lewis was resumed at the iSupreme Court, Mr Adams (Crown Prosecutor), said: “I have been informed that last night when the Court rose, the foreman of the jury and one juryman got into company with two witnesses for the uefence, and went with them to an hotel bar, whence they were for some time in conversation. They were seen there by detectives.”
