AUCKLAND, April 28

At the annual meeting oT the New Zealand League Football Council, the ■following suggestion from Otago was agreed fo: — (I) That three South Island selectors be appointed to select two teams from the West Coast, Otago and Canterbury League to-appear in a possibles v. probables match in Christchurch. (2) That these selectors select a South Island team of fifteen players after that match to represent the South Island against the North Island at Auckland.
