ROME, April 27
Five warships were launched and the keel of a giant liner of fortyfive thousand tons was laid down on a single day, which was observed as a public holiday at all ports concerned. The warships consist of two ten thousand ton cruisers, each carrying three seaplanes, two scout ships capable ol doing 37 knots and an eight bundled ton submarine.
The new liner will be the largest and most luxurious Italian ship afloat and will carry 2250 passengers.

" Thirty-five vessels of a total tonnage of 135,418 tons arc tied up idle at Hamburg as a result of the. agreement between Hamburg-Amerika and Nord Deutclier-Lloyd Companies.
