TIMARU, April 29,
The quarterly session ol the Supreme Court opened! to-day before Mr Justice Adams.
His Honour, in his charge, mention ed that there were only three cakes for consideration, none of which presented any difficulty.
: The grand jury returned true bills against' Geo: Arthur King,' alleged obtaining money by false pretences, and Walter Smith, alleged manslaughter. The grand jury returned iio hill in a case against Philip AfcLaughlan and George Tait, of alleged forging of a document in connection with the marriage of a minor.
