The New South Wales golfers, who lost the Kirk-Windeyer Cup to New Zealand, declared on their return: “We met a better team and have no excuses to make” The Victorian member, Mr Hancock, said : “After seeing New Zealand golf- 1 ors, T have formed the opinion that Australians can’t putt.”
