The city was razed. The brigands, equipped with twenty machine grinsdestroyed the city driving residents to the streets where they were mowed down, with rifles and machine guns. Officials were captured and publicly butchered. Every establishment was looted the bandits setting fire to the town before their departure. Troops are being despatched to pursue the looters.
