ANZAC COMMEMORATION

IN LONDON

LONDON, April 25. Large numbers participated in Anzac Day ceremony. Australian cricketers at the earliest possible moment laid a wreath on the cenotaph, which was placed by Woodl'tit It consisted of wattle and poppies inscribed In memory, from Australian Cricketers.

Hundreds were unable to gain admission to St. Cletment Dailies which was packed half an hour before the service Venerable J. AY. "Ward, ex-Arclibisliop of Goulboiirn officiated, Mr Fenton and Lord Ryic read the lessons. Sir Arthur Mason of Sydney presided at tho organ and Eunice Meredith (New Zealand) was the soloist.

A representative gongregation included lan Hamilton. "Wilford, agents general, Army, Navy and Air Force and Liason officers.

The most impressive part of the services was when three hundred ex-mem-bers of tho Forces'formed a procession to the shrine'where'from, on behalf of Australia, Colonel At. AV r . B. Thomas and on behalf of Now Zealand, Mr AA ilford, and AVoodfull and Kelly on behalf of the cricketers laid wreaths on 1h shrine. The congregation knelt while 'the Anzac hymn .was sung..
