As a result of the dispute over the Taihape Public Hospital, three doctors, who have private practices, threatened to resign unless the Matron vacated her position; The Wanganui Hospital Board inquired into the position and decided that .ti ?' Matron should stay. At the Board meeting yesterday during discussion it was mentioned that two of the doctors uj) there have an institution of their own and they put financial patients in their own home and not in the public hospital. A resolution was carried that ilie doftors he informal that Lhe Wanganui Hospital Board could not see its way to ask the Matron of the Taihape'Hospital to resign and that they be asked to reconsider their resignations.
