The operations department of Roosevelt Field announces private information received from. London indicates Kingsford Smith in the reconditioned Southern Cross, will attempt to anticipate Costes’ announced intention to fly across the Atlantic from Paris beifor Bth May. The Australian’s plans for the last year (cabled on loth July) were abandoned, find the aviator was to come to-the United. States by steamer, but it is believed a desire to achieve the honor of completing the first westward flight from Europe to New \ork has induced Smith to revive the undertaking. He will fly from Croydon, and arrangements are being made here for his arrival. .
