VISIT TO WEST COAST.

WESTPORT, April 11

Hon W. B. Taverner, Minister of Railways, arrived from Reefton This morning taking deputations en route. He went out to the Karamea Road, to inspect the earthquake damage, and tnis evening' in the Town Hall was accorded a civic reception by the De-puty-Mayor, Air J. Al. Robertson, with whom was associated Air H. E. Holland, AI.P. for Buller. (Several deputations wer received, including one from the Buller" Progress League ,in regard to harbour matters. The Alinistcr leaves for Greymouth to-morrow.
